The retail opportunity

Make it easier than ever for your customers to purchase pork, by changing what they know about this important protein. Ontario Pork’s new education campaign will help you increase sales by answering two key consumer challenges:

  1. How to cook pork for the best taste and texture
  2. How to choose the ideal cut for any recipe

What's the result?

  • Increased sales
  • More repeat purchases
  • Better customer retention

Ontario Pork's plan

Our goal is to help educate your customers on the importance of using internal cooking temperatures as a guide to cooking pork properly.

The first phase of this year-long campaign features new, easy-to-use roasting guides and postcards outlining various pork cuts and how to prepare them. We think you and your customers will find this guide indispensable – and that will ultimately help increase your pork sales.

Starting this summer, we’ll step up our education campaign with more free educational materials and consumer contests for thousands of dollars in commercial-grade food thermometers.

Working together, we can help your customers gain a new appreciation for pork and remind them to return to your meat counter for tasty and delicious Ontario pork.

Stay tuned as we launch this campaign on how to perfectly prepare pork!

Contact us today for your free pork cooking guides.

(Don't forget to tell us your business name and how many guides/postcards you'd like!)
