Easy Coca-Cola BBQ Ribs Rate this article: 4.3 42972 Print Yield:Serves 4-6 Prep Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 4 hours Ingredients: Two (2) racks of Ontario pork back ribs Dry Rub 1/2 cup of brown sugar 4 teaspoons of Kosher salt 4 teaspoons of black pepper 4 teaspoons of smoked paprika 4 teaspoon of garlic powder 4 teaspoon of onion powder 2 teaspoon of cumin 2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon of chili powder 1 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder Homemade Cola BBQ Sauce: 1 cup of Coca-Cola (or another type of cola, i.e. Dr. Pepper) 1 cup of spicy ketchup 1/4 cup of Worchestershire sauce 1/4 cup of any BBQ or steak sauce to thicken 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper 1/8 teaspoon of roasted garlic seasoning 2 teaspoons of liquid smoke Cooking Instructions: Remove silver skin from backside of ribs. Mix the dry rub ingredients together. Generously coat ribs with dry rub on all sides. Cover the ribs with aluminum foil. Bake the ribs at a low temperature (275F) for 4 hours or until they are tender. Remove aluminum foil and slather the ribs with coca-cola barbecue sauce then back in the oven to broil on high for a few minutes until the sauce is caramelized.
