Ontario Farm Products Marketing Commission
The Ontario Farm Products Marketing Commission (Commission) is an agency of the Government of Ontario. The Commission is often referred to as the supervisory body of Ontario’s agricultural marketing boards.
In January 2008, a letter was sent to the Commission to ask for reconsideration of the regulations that provide for the marketing powers and authorities of Ontario Pork. This prompted the Commission to begin the process of inviting written submissions on the issue, a pre-hearing and ultimately a hearing.
