ELECTIONS 2012

Local pork association annual meetings for Ontario’s swine producers begin in January, 2012.  Elections will be held in those associations located in zones 3 and 4 for the purpose of voting in delegates and substitutes for 3-year terms.  Some by-elections may be scheduled for associations in zones 1 and 2.   Zone 3 and 4 are each scheduled to meet before February 28th to elect their Board member representatives.

 

The associations are the foundation of Ontario Pork.  They are important for organizing and hosting local activities and event, promoting and lobbying on behalf of themselves and the industry.  Each association is unique and determines its own direction, setting the priorities and focus for its local producers.  Below are the various documents available for association elections:
